Bo was born at a very early age to a nomadic radio family. His father and mother were broadcasters, so he never had a chance!
Growing up in the business was an incredible experience for our bright future broadcaster. His first brush with greatness occurred when he was doing overnights at a underground FM station in Tulsa, Oklahoma and got a phone call from someone claiming to be Eric Clapton.
E.C. wanted an NBA score ( Go figure ) and Bo thought it was someone putting him on, so he hung up. The next day he was walking down the hall and, lo and behold, there’s Eric Clapton with the station’s program director! The program director called him into his office, along with Clapton and sternly warned Bo to give Eric NBA scores anytime he calls.
Bo nervously said he would, then Eric and the program director both busted out laughing, much to Bo’s relief. Bo has been married to the same wonderful women for 26 years.
The Chase’s have 2 daughters, a son who’s a guitar whiz, one spoiled grand – daughter. When he’s not playing cool tunes on Hippie Radio, he can usually be found grilling something wonderful in the barbecue pit he built in his back yard.
